I don't know how you find a good surgeon, except through a recommendation from a doctor, and/or going on line to check credentials. I love my surgeon. He is excellent, really cares about his patients and is working with me on payment of bills that are not covered by my insurance. However, I'm in Michigan, so it doesn't sound like this would be a convenient place for you to be for your surgery. My recon results are great, although it did take 5 surgeries to get to this point. There are other ladies on these boards who have had recon surgery. Hopefully they will have a little more helpful information for you. Good luck finding a doctor and getting good results.
