Hi Sherry.... Thank you so much for responding. Sorry to hear that you also had a failed attempt. I believe that had I not got the infection my results would have been the same as yours due to my radiated skin.
I'm assuming when you mentioned the "Scar" that you were referring to it on your back. You never mentioned how your mobility was after having the back muscle removed and how much of a surgical indentation was left. Hope I'm not being to nosy just feel the need to fully understand the benefits and consequences of the surgery ahead.
I also got the direct impression from my PS that this next surgery would be a one shot deal. Lat.Flap with a implant ( not temporary). Interesting to know how that will go. See him again July 3rd so will clarify at that time. I certainly will insist on having antibiotics after surgery however, I don't think he's going to mind after our last round together.
