Hello and welcome,

I had this surgery done last April after a failed attempt at expanding my radiated skin. I had the lat flap with an expander. We took filling the second expander really slow and my last fill was November 2008 and I had my exchange done with my implant in February this year. If I was to wear a bikini top my scar would be noticable however that's not going to happen. I am very pleased and so is my surgeon with the results.

I was on antibiotics after the surgery. My PS was extremely careful about infections.

Many of the ladies here have had the lat flap they were all a great help to me when I decided to go for it.
