I finished 24 days of rads at the end of Feb. Should have had 26 days, but I was burning too much. The rad onc didn't say anything about how soon I could do the exchange.
I had the exchange on May 13th and it seems to be healing well. I'm holding off on the tattoo. I'm tired of medical procedures and I still have 5 more Herceptin treatments to go. At my age, a tattoo is not a high priority. Just glad to be rid of that tissue expander. I had it in for almost 11 months!
