Hello, all. I am in a dilemma. I just finished radiation April 17, after a mastectomy in January. Now my PS is saying we can replace the tissue expander with the implant in early July. The radiation oncologist says not before six months, or October. have any of you had experience with this? How soon after radiation did you have your expanders replaced with implants? Was it successful? Also, do you recommend going forward with a having a nipple tattoed on?
