Listen to your doctor about lifting weights after exchange surgery. I only had one side done. And certain excersises don't feel right when I try to do them. I can do a pull down but not a butterfly. And you will need to start with light weights and work up.
The exchange was an easy surgery for me. Used the pain meds for a couple of days and then just Tylenol when needed.
Although I haven't had the lift on the other side yet, just the sheer ease of buying a bra and bathingsuit were worth the discomforts of the surgeries.
It's a whole new me.
