Thanks for your response. I actually already asked him, and he said most people do not have drains with the change out surgery. So I was just wondering how he makes that decision. Seems like by reading this support site, some go home with drains, some don't.
I don't think he knows until he does the surgery if the drain is needed or not. My drain sites are still really red from where the tubes were.
Hate those drains!!! They really hurt.
