I had a double mast also and I woke up in terrible pain too. I was told later that some idiot nurse had let the pain med run out. The exchange surgery was a breeze. I chose to stay in over night in case there was another issue with pain, but there wasn't. I took pain meds from doc for a couple days and was fine after that. It should be much easier for you this time around. Please keep us posted.
