I had it done after lumpectomy

I had lumpectomy and it was pretty severe. It did affect my own self esteem and I got to the point that I was self conscience in front of my husband without my top too.
I did have to search for the right ps, who had recon on bc women, like us. The first one I saw wanted to do the filler, implant thing, but I found an other pc who did the lat flap and I was very wery pleased with the results, and then choose to so agumentation with the same ps 6 months later to both breasts. If you have any questions feel free to ask anything.
I never have regretted the decision to reconstruct.
Did you have radiation? It can make a difference.
