I was surprised to hear that your surgeon wants to wait 6 months before replacing your expanders with the permanent implants. Now I'm questioning my procedure. I only waited 2 months, and so far I am happy with mine. I guess, I'm not answering your question, sorry, but am now concerned with whether my surgeon rushed things -- he was leaving, and I say thank you so that I can explore this -- I have been uncomfortable, and thought it was normal to feel this way. Now, wonder if waiting would have been more prudent.
