I was diagosed with BC in Oct 2006, I had lumpectomy on left breast, 4 rounds of AC, 12 rounds of taxol and radiation, one yr later i had some hyperplasia on the righ and had surgery to remove pre cancer tissue, just 2 weeks ago, they found 2 areas with calcifications on my right breast again and had me do 2 biopsies- both came back for LCIS!!! Now my surgeon is recommending double mastectomy because I am high risk and he thinks that having surgery AGAIN is just giving me more scars and unnessary surgeries, his recommendation is double mastectomy...Has anyone else had this recommendation for LCIS?? Not sure what i want to do. Please help!
