Expander causing discomfort

I am currently going through getting a breast expander filled once a week so that I can get an implant a few months from now. My question is, my plastic surgeon has put me on both a pain killer and muscle relaxer and that helps; however, I still feel very sore and find it is hard to sleep at night. Do any of you have any ideas on how I can be more comfortable during the next few months?
