Lots of stress with your decision, but you'll have to take it alone...
I had mastectomy only on my left breast and I do have benign microcalcifications on the right breast. It doesn't mean they could change to malign anytime and this was 3 years ago. I had immediate reconstruction with expansor and silicone implant. I got capsular contracture (they told me it's fairly common on previously radiated skin) but I really didn't follow the plastic surgeon advice (I swam like crazy to calm down...). Had an implant exchange on December and now it looks good, very natural (with clothes on of course).
In summary, if you choose mastectomy, expansor plus implant technique is a good choice, especially if you aren't on the big breasts side.
