You do need to find a good plastic surgeon in your area. Do some research or get a referral from your doctor.
I had a bilat mast in July 2007 and started recon right away with expanders, then had the exchange for the implants in Feb 2008 and I love it. I have never regretted that choice for one second. My goal from the beginning was to look good in my clothes without needing a prosthesis, and I do. People who don't know what I've been through are totally shocked when I tell them. The only thing I will say though is that they are a little high and firm for a lady my age (59), but I still look great in my clothes. I haven't had the nipples done because I figure at my age, if it's not broke, don't fix it. :-) Good luck with your decision.
