Thanks for the response. I have sought out second opinions, but my insurance does not cover anything out of state and I'm at the best hospital in the state, incidentally, a research university.
Although I realize this may not be the right place to post, in answer to the question:
As stated in another post, I'm 32, feel like 80, treated like 5--all that aside, I'm not unhappy with the way I look, to the contrary--it does make it more difficult to do things sometimes, though. Lengthening my arms/legs won't help the situation--I have Bloom's Syndrome--it does not have anything to with HGH or related factors. Besides, these only work while the person is still growing. I stopped that (well except for around the middle) when I was a teenager.
Relevant for the BC side of things--use of artificial bone material only weakens the bones later on--not good for the osteoporosis factor for us. If HGH alone is used, well this messes with estrogen levels--not such a great idea either. Then there are the steroid issues that come along with the multiple infections, etc. This can't be good for us either. Many say that while growth is heightened at first, it stops earlier than it may have naturally, thus with an end result that may be shortened height and weaker bone structure--regardless--not for me. I suggest caution in children who have had cancer.
