Karyl, I thank you so much for this advice. I promise I will find a way to "lay it down" and let others carry the work burden for a little while. Hard for me to do, but maybe THAT is the lesson I'm supposed to learn from all this. I know you understand that all I really need is to just KNOW what to expect. Something just didn't mesh when I tried to imagine having so much of my body disappear and then just take some meds and go on as usual. At this point I will definitely quit trying to convince everyone, customer, employee or friend, that I'll be back at work in a day or so. Reality is a better place to be. Thanks.
