Hi Janet -- I had the same result after my 1st chemo. Because my WBC's dropped so low & I developed an infection, needed big gun antibiotics my insurance then approved my recieving a shot of Nulasta - newer generation of Nupagen with less side effects. It did help and I stayed on sched. for 3rd and didn't get sick. Ask if you can get it, but you may have to have your insurance "pre-Approve" it because it is very expensive.
