That's funny, because I was just thinking whether a femal plastic surgeon would be better.
Thank you for your relaying your fascinating story. I'm so glad it worked out for you in the end. I'm not even sure how to go about seeing another plastic surgeon, let alone one who specialises in reconstruction.
My situation is a bit different to yours though, my radiated breast is just smaller, not damaged. I do feel a bit odd about being smaller (I've always been big breasted), on the other hand my 'healthy' breast is really droopy (from breastfeeding) so it might not be such a bad thing to get that one sorted out. I guess to expect that, AND to get the other one to match the size would not be something that can be done on the NHS.
