6 years ago,at age 48, I was diagnosed with dcis, had a mastectomy and a tramflap. A new breast was constructed that was considerably smaller than my remaining breast. The following year, I had the natural breast reduced to 'even out' my torso. It was a a good decision for me. Nipple has little sensation---not a big issue. I am glad I had it done. It has made life a bit easier for me.
