Hi,
You're welcome!
To give you a little more insight into me, I'd never considered plastic surgery in my whole life and had never expected to. It was the week of my 50th birthday when I found myself having the breast cancer diagnosis and making the mastectomy decision. My breast oncology surgeon highly recommended that before I say no to reconstructive plastic surgery I should find out exactly what I would be saying no to by having a consultation with a plastic surgeon. To this day I'm so grateful to my onc surgeon for that advice. I also consulted with a psychologist.
My breasts were very droopy, from pregnancy and breastfeeding, and also and much of it was excess skin because I'd lost 100 pounds about 8 years before my Breast cancer diagnosis (I went from a size 20 to a size 8 and have kept it off ever since, 13 years now). I also have a small implant placed under the pec in my lifted and reduced non cancer breast. I was a full D prior to the wt loss, and a full D after. But after, with a much smaller band size to my bra (was a 40 or 42, am now 36. The need for the D cup size after my weight loss was mostly from the excess skin, not the volume inside of the breast. Without the small implant the lift of the breast and the reduction of the excess skin would have resulted in too small a breast to match my C-cup reconstructed breast.
I didn't have a nipple reductiopn, but the size of the areola was slightly reduced.
Keep in touch!
