Thank you so much for your response. I know only I can make this decision but I really wanted to hear other peoples opinions to help me, and especially from someone like you who has had some experience.
Interesting what you say, I will get a 2nd opinion, it's always best to anyway.
It's funny because at first I was a bit upset to be going from a DD to a C, just because I knew it wasn't my natural breast size and I thought it seemed somehow 'unfair' to the non cancer breast to be going through the surgery - if that makes any sense. But now that I've had more time to think about it, like you, my non cancer breast is really droopy esp. after breastfeeding for a few years so actually it could do with a lift!
It's great to hear that you were so pleased with your results.
As my nipple on the radiated breast is smaller, the surgeon said he would reduce the nipple size on the other breast to match, so i'm presuming I would be at more risk of getting any nipple problems.
