Hi,
It's a very personal decision that only you can make. It woudl be good to get 2nd and even 3rd opinions from other plactic surgeons. Implants dn other reconsrtuctive proceduers can be doen on radiated breasts.
Many women I know have had the surgery done that(I attend a breast reconstructon after cancer support group). I had it done to make my non-cancer breast match my reconstructed breast(reconstructed after a single mastectomy). I love it! Here's my experience. I was a large very droopy D and am now a pert full C. The breast looks absolutely beautiful. I did not develop hypersensitivity of the nipple as a result, nor is it numb. The nipple is more "at attention" than it used to be, and if anything only is slightly less responsive to stimulation than it used to be.
