How do implants feel?

I have a question...I have had my expander in since 10/07. I will be having reconstruction in the fall. When you get your implants in and your body adjusts does it still feel uncomfortable like the expander does? What does it feel like to you? Not to others who may touch you but to you? Does it hurt? Are you afraid to bend over to pull laundry out of the washer? Do you fear they will pop? This may sound crazy but these are the things I want to know so I can prepare.... I know it is not like natural breasts. I am planning a Tram Flap, however, I am considering having a double mastectomy and if I go this route then I might not have enough tissue to do both breasts so I am trying to formulate a plan. All info would be greatly appreciated.
