Hi Mary,
I just had surgery the end of may to fix a very hard implant from radiation. The other side that was not radiated, was also hard and way too high, but not like the radiated side. I had to have the radiated side completely removed and replaced with a lat flap. The left side, he simply replaced the implant. I can tell you it is significantly different and was so worth it. It actually sticks out and droops like a real breast and is very soft. I was allowed to begin exercise in moderation after 4 weeks. Right away I found that any chest exercises tightened up the pec and made a crease that lasted into the night, so I just don't do anything that uses chest muscles. The results were worth it, but I would listen to the no exercise that uses those muscles for as long as he says.
