I have never worn a sleeve flying, but that is my personal choice. I live in NY and have flown to Hawaii twice, Las Vagas twice, New Orleans, Florida four times in the past 6 years and I haven't had a problem with any swelling at all.

I am in upstate by Albany.

I think the key for me is that I have always used the arm in excersise and lifting ect. My job until 18 months ago required lifting on a daily basis. I think the more we use the arm the less chance of build up of fluid. But that is just my opinion.
