You've got an improving 2-year starter at QB in Windsor with a ton of passing yards, an all-league 2-year starter at OS in Wayne Thomas, who holds the record for most career TDs scored by a receiver, the fastest return man in the league in Terrance Harris, and by far, the best kickoff return team in the league. One thing I'll give Coach Bobby Humphrey credit for...he knows how to draw up the "wedge" on those returns. Seems like whoever is blocking or returning, they always seem to get at least 20 yards on the return and sometimes a TD. In 2000, everyone thought it was Adlai Trone who was solely responsible for all those return yards & TDs, but then 2 other guys showed it could be done just as easy or better. Credit goes to Humphrey for designing it. I've said all along...I wish our coaching staffs would have copied it. Baffles me as to why other teams don't copy it. Bir should get no less than to the semi-finals in the playoffs. If not, it would be a shock to me.
I'm jacked for the season. I'll probably be heading to Little Rock in 3 1/2 weeks.
