Hello rainbow family hope you are all well.would just like to bring it to your attention about an international artcamp at the nimbin rocks in aug 2006.the idea is that a group of people camp at the rocks creating fantastic art together.mediums include painting drawing sculpting photography writing.
We will be working with the local custodians who have storytelling paintings songs and music and dance to contribute to the occasionh.It is envisaged that there will be costs to enable other activities to happen at the rocks once the art camp is finished.Costs have yet to fully worked out .It is the first international artcamp and as the name suggests we are promoting it to the wider world out there.If there is anyone out there who can get the word out to the world we are aiming at the whole world.Inviting them to come to Australia and meet the traditional people and get to know them through art dance music and performance.The mothership chai tent will be catering for the occassion with the chai flowing for 30 days.This is for artists and their partners with a wonderful schedule of events being developed with site seeing bush walks great music and picnics to be had in amongst the ancient lands people and culture of the north coast of new south wales here in australia if any one recognises me from this email please get in contact as i can fill in some of the gaps.also if you would like to get your name down early so that we can gauge some of the demand.This initiative is not just targeting the rainbow family but all demographics you mums and dads who might not see things exactly the same as we do but who would like to spend time in the bush drinking tea and painting pictures or sculpting. i8n about a months time there should be a website called artcamp international with a lot more information available .Please note Artcampinternational is a drug and alcohol free event.
