Hi Steve : Read yourinput re the Can-Am series .
I was involved with that series as a race official
during the mid-sixties through the end in the seventies . I am also a professional photographer and have many b&w and color shots of the famous
drivers of that era - including their cars.
I am in the process of setting up a website to market
these and memorbilia relative to vintage motorsports.I would like to keep in touch .It could be beneficial to both of us and provide
valuable info, photos and video for those who love motorsports as much as we do .
Regarding Triangle Films .They are no longer in business .I saw their crews at all the events that I covered. They must have a large collection of films . I believe they covered for ESPN.ESPN is
now owned by ABC television ; which in turn is part of the Disney empire .You may also wish to contact Brock Yates at www.onelapofamerica.com
or fax him at1.716.495.6286 .
Brock is a featured columnist with " Car and Driver " magazine and has authored many automotive books . He may be able to help or refer you to someone who can . I will also continue my search .Thank you for what you are doing. We need that era preserved for all to enjoy.I am also working with two US published Vintage Race magazines on the publishing of my photos. Have also kept in touch with Sir Sterling Moss. He may be able to give input also .
Hope I have been of some assistance. Please keep me posted .I will surely want to purchase a copy of the video.
By the way , my son-in-law is a sound engineer and is in the process of setting up his first studio.
In addition he is a musician ( bass guitar ).
