Chuck's Wife Sherri, has assumed the role of Promoter at Peoria Speedway, She is a Great Lady !!! Schedule of Events: August 2, 3 & 4, 2002. (3 Days) Free Exhibition Track Time for Vintage Cars, before Racing & during Intermission at Bureau County Speedway (Princeton, Illinois) The Peoria Oldtimers Racing Club will present a Race Car Show at "Farmington Road True Value Hardware" located on Farmington Road, just up the Street from Peoria Speedway at Sterling Avenue. All Racers Welcome to Display Vintage & New Race Cars in parking lot with free cook-out for all starting at 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. The Display of Race Cars will then be moved to the Peoria Speedway for the Regular Saturday Night Racing Program, the cars will be displayed inside the fence behind the Grand-stand area. Each Vintage Race Car Owner will receive two free tickets to the Races if you display your car, you must reserve your Tickets with Scott Shults by July 15 / E-mail: nouncr@hotmail.com There will be a "Peoria Oldtimers Racing Club" Racing Party, after the races at "Mooney's Pub" located just up the Hill from Peoria Speedway on Farmington Road with Free Food, Everyone is Welcome to attend. Our Peoria Oldtimers Racing Club "Hall of Fame" Room is located there, with over 400 Vintage Photos on Display. Day #3 Peoria Speedway / 1/4 Mile High-Bank Dirt Annual "Peoria Oldtimers Racing Club" Reunion & Vintage Race Meet '2002' Gates Open 10 a.m. / Racing at NOON / Front Gate General Admission Only One Dollar per person Celebrating Our 55th. Season of Stock Car Racing at Peoria Speedway. Classes: Late Models, Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stock, Hornets, Vintage Stock Cars, Vintage Midgets & Vintage Sprints. All classes are run "Open Competition", so, out of Town cars may compete. Pit Passes: Only Ten Dollars per person Types of Racing: Vintage, King of the Hill, Powder Puff, Mechanics, Team Racing and much more. Hope to see You there !!!
