I am currently working on a new road race series for Supertrucks. I hope to run tracks in MN. WS. IA. MO. KS. OK. TN. TX. NM. CO. or any other road coarse that will have us. This is a cross between SCCA and short track Supertrucks. I hope to evolve this series in an affordable fashion keeping the average cost of a truck to around $25,000.
I have had nine SCCA national license holders drive my truck at Heartland Park Topeka, Mid America Motorplex and Road America. There comments range from "very perdictable in the turns to let me out of this thing, my knees are shaking" The second comment came from John Strickler SCCA national champion SRF.
Monday Jan 14, 2002 we were at the Mid America Motorplex to test. Dispite the cool conditions we were able to get the truck around the 2.2 mi. coarse in 1.42.55 with Paul Brown a Speedvision World Challange driver.
