Would it be TOO COOL to tell NASCAR to take their rule book and shove it and put STOCK CARS of any year model back on the tracks. Outlaw Stock Car Racing it could be called with stock cars, no rules other than ones to govern the safety of the drivers and the fans, and yes RAIN TIRES to prevent rain dates. Engines, who cares , as long as they are generic to the manufacturer of the car BUT put a CLAIM FEE prior to the start of the race to keep the high dollar owners out. (Lets face it, a man doesn't want to sell a $25,000 engine for $5000). Tracks loosing races could host such events and REAL DRIVERS and MECHANICS would be able to show their talents on superspeedways. OH IT'S NICE TO DREAM, ISN'T IT.
