CSL is Corn Steep Liquor. It is derived from corn/maize. You know when you squeeze a grain of corn and the liquid and smell that leaks from it? Thats CSL just not as concentrated as the stuff you can buy in bottles. I highly recommend it and a lot of top top anglers swear by it. You'll find that most top brand boilies have CSL in them somewhere as its a natural extract rather than an artificial one. And as nearly every carp in the world has been caught on corn at somepoint its killer when used in other baits.
