Micheal,
Just read your message on the message board. Firstly CSL is a liquid food and also a top attractor, i do believe it's a derivative of Maize. It improves any base mix once it's been added, to be honest i've found you cannot overload it in your mix but i tend to stick to 10ml. I've found the Crannberry and sqiud combination to work very well. The reason i'm going to drop the flavour levels is because the base mix has enough of a smell signature without the flavours. Flavours only make a bait attractive in the short term in my opinion, the Carp wise up to the flavours and not the base mix, especailly if it's a good quality food bait. I want the Carp to recognise the bait as food not just a treat. Anyway enough of my waffle. The water i fish is called Alders APS and is in Kent. It's a hard water but you do stand a chance for a BIG Common(If your lucky that is) I hope that helps.
: I usually buy Patsull park base mix. I use 5ml
: of squid flavour to four eggs worth of
: mix. I am now going to try strawberry
: flavour. Do i need to add anything else
: to my mix? Can i mix the two flavours
: together in my mix? Am i using the
: correct amount of flavour? Please reply.
: Thanx.
: P.S. Are the hemp pellets any good in winter
: (or summer), any experiences??
: Tight Lines
