thank you for asking! For sure I am in regular contact with them. Sometimes we only meet on weekends but that's fine.
Well, the last time when I was there, I was there for dinner again. Antje still had a very heavy cough and Silke told me that this time her cold at all take a very long time to get away fully. For sure even if Antje coughs a lot and has a cold Silke and Bernd still smoke heavily around her. Silke told me that she also exhales on her a lot but much less compared to the time when Antje is healthy. Silke said that when Antje has a cough, for sure it makes no sense to exhale on her to calm her down because she would only cough much more.
Silke still smokes 4ppd for a few weeks. She told me that she needs that extra pack per day because of the heavy stress with coughing Antje all day long. Besides currently they almost never go outside the house with her because she could get an even heavier cold. So, Silke just tries to calm down Antje and smokes one cigarette after the other....
Bernd is also fine, he now smokes around 2,5ppd, so also a bit more than normal due to the same reasons.
It is really really nice to see how especially Silke is addicted to her cigarettes. Even chaining, she almost always drags very hard on her Davidoffs inhaling the smoke very deep and waiting for some seconds. After that she would do a big exhale or would talk during exhaling. You can really see how she also loves to smoke. Very nice and sexy to be honest :-)
Concerning Susanne, Silke told me that she tried to Marlboro reds from Mark and felt immediately much more relaxed compared to her lights. During the first few days she combined 1ppd reds with 1ppd lights but now she only smokes red 100s around 1,5ppd, still increasing.
Susanne and Mark would educate Christian now in a bit more stringent way and they would both exhale very often on him. On the one side to ensure he gets used to the smoke and will never blame them again. On the other hand they see that he behaves better and is more relaxed if he has to cope with much more smoke around him.
So, everything's fine and smoking even increased in both families. It is really nice to see how they all love smoking !
