Who would have thought she smoked?

I walked into a burning ring of fire and the results could destroy a relationship I consider very near and dear to me.
As you read this, consider whether you think I should turn this over to the polce. The issue is how what is recorded on a surveillance camera can be used. This surveillance camera recorded an 11-year-old girl smoking in my back yard.
I told a few people I take smoke breaks with at work that a pack of Marlboro lights was found in my backyard. Most mothers agreed the pack was my daughter's. This upset me and my daughter very much.
When I mentioned this on a smoke break, this guy named Gage said he had some surveillance equipment left over from when he owned a small business.
The issue seemed to die until Friday at work when he told me he had set the hidden camera up while we were gone Thursday. I told him the identity of the smoker was no longer an issue and to not activate the camera.
I even called my daughter to tell the girls that I wanted to warn them there was a possibility a surveillance camera had been set up in the backyard.
All five of these girls are very close. They are all on the same soccer team and are 12 or will be 12 this summer. They know Sylvia is the smoker but will not tell on her.
Gage called yesterday and said there were tree smokers in the group but none were my daughter. He invited me to lunch. Since my daughter was shopping with her grandmother and my boyfriend was wrapped up with soccer on television, I accepted.
Gage said he left the setup for the four morning hours. I don't believe a word he said. I could tell from the shadows that some of it was recorded in the afternoon. He gave ne a cassette that lasted 45 minutes and said that was the only copy.
Recorded was Sylvia, daughter of the very anti Jaunita. This was apparently shot before my warning call. Then Sylvia went out with Laura and Cheryl. This time all three acted like they were aware of my call and were acting silly.
Laura's mother gave up smoking at the age of 20 when she got pregnant with Laura. Like me, Laura's mom took up smoking at the age of 12. She has repeatedly said she is so glad she was able to quit smoking.
Dana, Cheryl's mother, took up smoking at the age of 21 very soon after her third boy was born. Since then she had three girls who are now 23, 18 and 11. She came into a coffee shop where I was smoking and bummed one.
Dana said that was the first cigarette she had in years and she better not have another. On the recording, both Cheryl and Laura both stsarted out looking like they tried their first cigarette Friday morning. Cheryl coughed each time she had one but Laura seemed to be catching on durihg the day.
I think the pack belongs to Denise, the daughter of my current bf. All of the girls suspect that Denise did smoke with some older girls last week. All the mothers are keeping an eye on things to see if they can figure out what is happening.
I just hate to be talking to individual mothers about a situation that involves all of us.
Audrey, former wife of the guy I date says my daughter is the smoker.
Since the girls are starting to turn 12, this is becoming less serious sounding. Denise turns 12 today.
