Last night I went to a bar that has an outdoor / enclosed smoking room. They don't serve out there and patrons can't bring drinks out with them, but it is the next best thing to being able to smoke in the bar, and it is not bad at all from a comfort and convenience standpoint. Being midweek, there weren't that many sightings because there weren't many customers. However, I did have a smoke with a very pretty young waitress taking a cigarette break. She stood out because she's one of the few people I've seen recently in real life (not on video) who often did lovely open-mouth inhales. They were a little like a snap, but much slower and lazier than an actual snap. Two things went through my mind as I watched her smoke.
1. Does she smoke this way because she likes how cool and sophisticated she looks doing it?
2. Did she do it because consciously or unconsciously she was showing off for me?
I often wonder whether women who smoke with a distinctive style do so consciously, for a reason, or do they do it out of habit, without thinking at all. Any opinions?
