I met a stripper in Las Vegas who was a non smoker before she started dancing. She told me that all of the new friends she made in Vegas are smokers, so she decided to give it a try. She said that she wasn't really crazy about it the first time she tried it, but her girlfriends were constantly offering her cigarettes. She told me that once she got used to it and it started to feel good, she started to smoke a lot, (2 packs a day). She said that most of the girls that dance in the club where she works smoke 2 or more packs per day. She also told me that it used to bother her when people were sitting near the stage and smoking while she was dancing, but now that she smokes, she actually enjoys it and sometimes smokes on stage!
