Takes a lot of courage, but it can be worth it. I think the main thing for you to do is to make sure you let her take smoking on her own terms and smoke light cigarettes. I've never been a smoker, but I've read that at first it bothers you, then I stops bothering you, then you start to like it, and then of course you need it. For a while my wife was smoking 1 to 2 per day (not always around me) an she clearly liked it as time wore on. Your wife might get to this level on her own over time. The last thing you want is to push her and get her to stop, or get addicted and hate your for it. I understand the rare pleasure of waking to the smell of cigarette smoke from a non wife.
