Posted by Danny on March 2, 2006, 5:29:05 I live in a supposedly 'cool' area of London and have noticed over the last year, or even less, a huge increase among young women, especially students and music/arty types, smoking Lucky Strikes, which until recently have been barely available here. They have obviously been relaunched by the manufacturer, BAT I think, but I'm very curious how they've managed to persuade people they are a fashionable brand without any visible advertising (banned in the UK)? Anyone know how they do it? I know they've put special vending machines in certain clubs and bars, but is that all it takes?
