Hello, my name is Tamara. I live on the east coast of Canada in a place called Halifax, Nova Scotia. I work for the YMCA School age child care and the below post is all about a project that I am doing with them. I have been out of the snail mail world for a little bit and I miss it so much, one of the last things I did was a project on what snail mail means to snail mailers. To me it is like getting a gift everyday from someone whom has taken a while to write. I am sure that everyone has a special place in there heart where getting a letter makes their cup runneith over.
I believe that everything happens for a reason and that people come into our lives for a reason. So, if you are reading this and you think hey I would like to help this lady out and maybe make a life long friend pick up a pen and paper, or type or whatever. Greetings snailers of the world I just wanted to update you about my YMCA group are doing on their trip around the world by help of you snailers. We have traveled to the northern territory of Aussie land, UK, some states (NY, ma, Ohio)
The kids love to see where the places are in relation to where we live, and the post cards are amazing we have a wall designated to this project. Thanks so much for all involved with the project, I hope that others will be inspired to help as well. Thanks you have inspired their imaginations and made them smile º
