Posted by Stefani I truly enjoy getting to know new people. I think it is fun to share your thoughts, stories and ideas with someone else through the old fashioned medium of snail mail. While I truly enjoy this medium, I have a life outside of writing letters and thus, am not always able to write back right away. When I was a teenager I managed to keep up with letters within day everytimes, but honestly now, I've grown up and actually acquired a life I love long letters. Again, while I may not always be the promptest person, I'm definitely blessed with the gift of the gab on paper. I write individual letters -- not form letters which do nothing but annoy me -- and I write personal stuff, and answer and ask questions. Sometimes when reading letters you receive from others, you have to wonder if they actually read the letter that YOU sent THEM because they never comment on it. I think letters are a meaningful exchange -- and not just a play by play of whats up in your life. I do type my letters simply for the fact that I can type a letter in a few hours but a handwritten letter would likely take me days to write....I'd much rather save my wrists and time by typing. Typically my letters are anywhere from 7-30 pages typed minus the first letter which is typically 6 pages or so...hey we all have to begin somewhere don't we? A letter that is one page long to me is a waste of postage. I can't possibly get to know someone through a few paragraphs and honestly, if they can't be bothered to take the time to know me, I can't be bothered either! I am seeking a female friend somewhere in my age range (oh about 25-40, maybe a little older or younger). I prefer someone with similiar interests and hobbies. The more we have in common I find the better our chances of clicking are

Hello there. I am a 32 year old female who is seeking only friendly, chatty ladies for friendship. I prefer snail mail but am open to email to get to know one another if necessary. I am a full time educator, and I enjoy working with young children although it can be very hectic at times. I have been married for just over a year and am open to writing to those both married and single. In my spare time, I have many hobbies and interests. First and foremost, I am a big reader. I am a magazine addict for sure and enjoy reading books as well especially mystery, suspense and books relating to child development and/or education. I love animals and am truly a dog person. I have two dogs that make my life interesting - a golden retriever and a border collie. They are truly our children and get to go just about everywhere with us. I love the show "FRIENDS" and hope Ross and Rach get back together. I also enjoy watching Fear Factor, the news, Trading Space and different kinds of shows. Some other things I enjoy or am interested in include: writing letters, Ebay, stained glass, bubble baths, cameos, penpalling, weight loss, Leslie Sansone, web journals, comedy, travel, bed and breakfasts, coffee, ice cappuccino, Trivia shows, Drew Carey, sunflowers, roses, weddings, travel, sightseeing, pro figure skating, decorating, scented candles, friendship, summer, swimming, hiking, TOPS, board and trivia games, holidays, laughter, long walks, chocolate, and much more.
hee! Seriously, I love to write letters but I'm not always the promptest person but at the same time, I don't take 6 months to write back either. I'm sort of in the middle. I have a busy life and my priorities are like this: husband, family, friends, penpals....so you get the drift I'm sure. I think we all need to lead a balanced life and so we need to make sure that we have a life outside of letters.
Please only North America or Europe. Thanks !!! Hope to hear from you!!!!!
