Ah a time I remember well. A time when the Blue Jays made a commitment to win, and followed through. Kind of like what they (Ted Rogers) promised to do a few years back, until the last few weeks where they shed Rolen for salary considerations, and have dumped Rios for the same. You know, the guy they locked up a year and a half ago as a core member of the future team. A guy that was potentially gonna get swapped straight up for Lincecum. Gone. For nothing.
Ugh. This team, and its ownership, are waving the white flag.
I wish Jim Balsillie liked baseball.
