This record sounds like a band on cruise control. I don't aim to hate -- their chops are on full display, and a good many of the melodies hit the mark -- but it just doesn't sound vital or urgent or anything like that. I'd give it an A for production and execution and presentation, but a C for piss 'n vinegar.
