I really like this record too. I really liked the last one as well, and I think this one is kinda a mash of the last one, and their older stuff. Totally agreed on the Rod, not too much of a fan of his stuff, but it's better on this record than before. Hearing him take vocals on the lead track is weird, but it doesn't really even sound like one of his songs. The recoding quality is really good too, just loud, big and in your face. I listened to it for two weeks straight when first got it.
In conclusion, I agree with you; it rips.
