Posted by solly wow dudes, just ####ing WOW. i almost wanted to fly you dudes in to laugh at this shit with me. simp may have died from laughter (or killed several people). there was a band playing, what else, dead covers. it was made of old dudes in vests. instead of a lead guitar, these prodigies utilized a keyboard with the ####ing "electric guitar" sound effect turned on. i feel the best part was at one point when the dude shouted "guitar!" before a ripping solo and the keyboard kicked in. shockingly there was only one drum circle. i really couldn't believe it. the rest was made up of 40-year olds dressed as hippies, tie-dye shirt booths (literally like 8 in a 4-block stretch), a make-your-own macrame tent, and a sidewalk sale. the best part was i think i was the only person there who was high. my neighborhood is lame, but at least it's junky free.

so today in my neighborhood kitsilano (which is on the westside of vancouver) i ventured out on an innocent bike ride and stumbled upon the HIPPY DAZE celebration. this ####ing thing occupied the vast majority if 4th ave (kits main drag basically) which was closed off all day for the festivities.
tooooo good! i laughed my ####ing ass off for about 20 min then got pizza.
