Here's a fake harper's annotation I wrote about an MBU road trip...critique requested

My friend Rick asked me if I'd contribute something to his core fanzine, and I was happy to oblige. I whipped up a retrospective on our very first US weekend (the one in Maine: gNick's van, frank leighton, cockblocking simp etc), using the shot of all of us in front of the dare banner as my starting point, and harper's famous 'annotation' feature as my template. The format is necessarily limiting of text, so I had to leave a lot of good stuff out (gnick's van, frank leighton, cockblocking simp etc.), but I still think it turned out decent, if not great. I'd like to hear your opinions. DISCLAIMER to Howie and Simp: Before you curse (yet again) my name a blue(r) streak, be advised that the textual jabs taken at your fashion sense are meant to represent how Solly and I probably felt about it at the time (though to be honest, I can't totally remember). Looking at this photo in 2006, I'm saying Simp is far and away the best dressed of the five of us--and Howie's not far behind.
