Posted by sami (Sammy) on 8/9/2006, 11:34 pm, in reply to "Has anyone heard anything about this" fun fact: mel gibson optioned the book and they were going to do a series on the USA network with him producing (when i heard about this the first time it was going to be a movie). i really don't know if they're going to be on tv anytime soon though, what with everything and all. aj mcguire was convinced if ray found his way into hollywood he would automatically be a huge success, since he is cooler than anyone his age and has more stories than an AA meeting. although apparently now he's going to college and lives with his girlfriend... funny how that happens
yeah its out and ray and neumann did an online chat and everything. there was an article in the LA times about them in june or something. i havent read the book but i heard it's really good. i hope it sells and it's disappointing they are having trouble finding jobs. ill buy one sunday if i can.
