I think I first became aware of Richard Kiel in a 1960s episode of "Wild Wild West" though I initially had him confused with Ted Cassidy, another very tall actor, until I saw the credits. I've enjoyed seeing him in different roles over the years, but still don't know if his last name is pronounced 'keel' or 'kile.'
