Just found out from the nice people at Bradford's National Museum of Film,Photography and Television (in the UK) that Richard visited the current James Bond exhibition in May this year! It seems I asked a couple of months too late! Hard to believe that Mr.Kiel was just a few miles from my house and I didn't know about it - apparently,he gave an interview and took part in an on-stage question and answer session,as well as signing copies of his book (still waiting for mine to be delivered by the official site).
