Posted by Andy Guthridge You were a true inspiration to all who attended Pride this year in Harrisburg. I came out to my family when I was 15 and it was very hard considering that we are from a small town in the middle of nowhere. My family took it well, but it took time. I'm now 27 and this year my family attended Pride with me for the first time ever. Your message really hit home with my Mom when you were talking about unity, and that being gay isn't just a "fad" or the "in" thing. It was very uplifting to know that we all have such a beatiful human being in our corner and on our side when it seems that the whole world is against us...you actually brought tears to my eyes more than once during your show. Please keep up the AMAZING work and keep on spreading your message of hope and love. I know you must've heard this a million times over, but Pepper, I want to say "THANK YOU" from the bottom of my heart. What you did for me and my family will NEVER be forgotten and I am forever grateful...we are closer because of you.
